VW Transporter Sunscreen
I was approached to design a sunscreen for the centre console screen in a VW transporter. I manufactured this on my 3D printer.
To make this I took the measurements from the vehicle and modelled them in CAD. Next I created a 1.5mm thick sunscreen that would automatically locate itself around the screen. Every edge and corner is filleted to reduce sharpness and improve strength.
It works as intended and the client was satisfied with the result.
