Jedi Holocron
This Jedi Holocron is modelled on the version seen in the Clone Wars animated series.
The frame was made using 3D printed parts and the windows were made with clear acrylic which was painted with a translucent blue paint.
The components connect together with 2x2mm magnets which were very tedious to install. The magnets allow the corner parts to rotate as shown in the Star Wars universe.
This model is the second version of the design, in the first version the frame was too thin. This meant I had to sacrifice some accuracy for functionality in order for the magnets to be able to sit comfortably in the components.
